EMPIRISMA: JURNAL PEMIKIRAN DAN KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM

EMPIRISMA: JURNAL PEMIKIRAN DAN KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM (P-ISSN: 1829-9563, E-ISSN: 2503-1694) is a blind, peer-reviewed journal published by Departement of Religion Studies, Faculty of Ushuluddin and da'wah State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Kediri. Due to the reorganization of the journal management at Departement of Religion Studies, since 2017 the journal focuses more on various dimensions of Islamic thoughts and cultures with the scope limited to the following topics: - Theology; - Religious Rituals; - Local Wisdom; - Sacred Texts; - Interfaith Encounter; Contemporary Issues To reach a wider audience and readership, articles in this journal are using two languages: Indonesian and English. This journal is published biannually in January and July.

EMPIRISMA: JURNAL PEMIKIRAN DAN KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM was first published in 2007; this journal obtained  (P-ISSN: 1829-9563), on Tuesday, 29 Mei 2007  with Decree Number 0005.801/JI.3.02/SK.ISSN/2004 since 2004. Indonesian Institute of Sciences Center for Scientific Data and Documentation (ISSN INDONESIA NATIONAL CENTER). Furthermore, on Thursday, 3 Maret 2016, this journal received  E-ISSN: 2503-1694 (online)  with Decree Number  0005.25031694/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2016.

Since Vol.2 No.2 of 2017 and beyond, EMPIRISMA: JURNAL PEMIKIRAN DAN KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM is committed to publishing articles in two languages, namely 60% in Indonesian and 40% in  English. Thus tiered in the following issues, until it reaches 100% in English. To improve the quality of language from articles published, this journal then collaborated with UPT Bahasa IAIN Kediri. EMPIRISMA: JURNAL PEMIKIRAN DAN KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM is published twice a year (January-july). Several changes and development have occurred and led to the existing journal type and format to serve the readers. In 2017 EMPIRISMA: JURNAL PEMIKIRAN DAN KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM was published in two versions printed and online by an open journal system (https://jurnal.iainkediri.ac.id/index.php/empirisma/index) and in 2022 changed to (http://jurnalfuda.iainkediri.ac.id/index.php/empirisma). All the business processes are used online. Some improvements were also made to increase the journal quality, such as the manuscript template and volume and number arrangement.
