Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of healing waterscapes in public open spaces in fostering positive psychology within the community. A qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach was used. The study involved seven informants who were visiting the Madiun urban forest park. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that healing waterscapes in public open spaces contribute to the development of positive psychology within the community. Findings suggest that being around waterscapes helps individuals connect with nature, cultivate gratitude, foster a sense of peace and relaxation, evoke happiness and positive emotions, reduce stress, and strengthen social relationships.
