Abstract

Kerinduan pada rumah merupakan salah satu pengalaman yang biasanya muncul ketika seseorang meninggalkan rumah untuk menetap di lingkungan yang baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas pertemanan dan kerinduan pada rumah pada siswa baru di pesantren Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 140 santri yang menetap di asrama pondok pesantren, berusia 11-16 tahun. Teknik random sampling digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala kerinduan pada rumah yang diadaptasi dari Yasmin (2018) dan skala kualitas pertemanan kualitas pertemanan ( FQUA ) yang diadaptasi dari Thien, Razak & Jamil (2012). Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik uji korelasi pearson product moment dengan bantuan SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara kualitas pertemanan dankerinduan pada rumah pada siswa baru di pesantren Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat dengan diperoleh nilai sig. 0,042 ( p < 0,05 ). Dari penelitian ini juga didapatkan hasil hubungan antara kedua variabel berkorelasi positif yaitu semakin tinggi kualitas pertemanan santri semakin tinggi tingkat keinduan pada rumah pada santri.
